Kites With Lights - fun electro-pop with DIY charm

Positivismus. Positivism. Zumindest musikalisch. At least musically. Bei Kites With Lights handelt es sich um eine sogenannte Ein-Mann-Kapelle. For Kites With Lights is a so-called one-man band. Somit einziges Mitglied ist Jonah Cordy, wohnhaft in Florida. Thus the only member is Jonah Cordy, residing in Florida. Bereits 2004 wurde eine kostenlose EP mit Demos veröffentlicht. As early as 2004, a free EP with demos released. Elektronisch, swingender Pop. Electronically, swinging pop. Kite With Lights hatte sich bereits mit einem Song an demhörenswerten New Order Tribute Album “Ceremony” beteiligt. Kite With Lights had already had a song to demhörenswerten New Order Tribute album "Ceremony" involved. Und tatsächlich ist “Dream Attack” wahrlich nicht von schlechten Eltern. And in fact is "Dream Attack" really not bad parents. Nun erscheint das erste eigene Werk, die EP “The Weight Of Your Heart”. Well, the first separate work, the EP "The Weight Of Your Heart."

Die Musik, vom Synthie-Sounds der 80er, Shoegaze und britischem Indie-Pop inspiriert, schafft es mit Leichtigkeit, im Grundton fröhlichen Elektro-Pop mit Heimwerker-Charme zu verbinden. The music, the synth sounds of the 80s, Shoegaze, and British indie-pop inspired, create it with ease, happy in the fundamental electro-pop with DIY charm too.

Loudvine + XOXO = Merry Times

XOXO = Merry Times

A warning about XOXO. This band should not be listened to unless you want to feel good or better then you were when you put them on. XOXO is infectious pop. You know that swirly combination of the guilty pleasure of bubble pop rock that is so infectious that it will have you jumping around your pad like  some young school girl, just feeling happy and free. Well if you never have had that feeling, take our word for it, it is very liberating and XOXO is the perfect band for that.

XOXO currently is promoting their EP, “C’est La View,” and their music will leave you feeling giddy and just wanting to play this for your friends. XOXO’s music will change  your mood from the first few notes of their  songs and leave you looking for someone to hug, kiss, high five or simply to be silly with.

They played SXSW and I know we would embrace them with open arms on the west coast. Give a listen, just be warned, XOXO is contagions and so dam good.
